Description
VENT-A-ROOF® is a unique passive ridge ventilation system that promotes the circulation of fresh air through roof spaces, ceiling and building spaces in commercial and light industrial buildings, residential homes and most metal sheds.
- Improves roof ventilation with continuous airflow, reducing AC energy consumption
- Mitigates condensation, humidity, and unhealthy mould and mildew

VENT-A-ROOF® louvres are available in 1.5m lengths in box lots of 10. Lysaght Rolltop Ridge and Folded ridges are available in 6-8m lengths as per your local LYSAGHT® branch service offer
Material Specification
VENT-A-ROOF® steel vent components are manufactured from 0.4mm BMT Next generation ZINCALUME® aluminium/zinc/magnesium alloy coated steel which complies with AS 1397:2011 G300, AM125 125g/m2 minimum coating mass.
LYSAGHT steel claddings and flashings are available in a range of materials and finishes including:
- Next generation ZINCALUME® steel aluminium/zinc/magnesium alloy coated steel complies with AS 1397:2011 G300, AM125 125g/m2 minimum coating mass.
- COLORBOND® steel is pre-painted steel for exterior roofing and walling. It is the most widely used. The painting complies with AS/NZS 2728:2013 and the steel base is an aluminium/zinc alloy-coated steel complying with AS 1397:2011. Minimum coating mass is AM100 (100g/m2).
- COLORBOND® Metallic steel is pre-painted steel for superior aesthetic qualities displaying a metallic sheen.
- COLORBOND® Ultra steel is pre-painted steel for severe coastal or industrial environments (generally within about 100m - 200m of the source). The painting complies with AS/NZS 2728:2013 and the steel base is an aluminium/zinc alloy-coated steel complying with AS 1397:2011. Minimum coating mass is AM150 (150g/m2).
