Next generation ZINCALUME® aluminium/zinc/ magnesium alloy coated steel complies with AS1397:2011 G550, AM125 (550 MPa minimum yield stress, 125 g/m2 minimum coating mass).
COLORBOND® steel is prepainted steel for exterior roofing and walling. It is the most widely used. The painting complies with AS/NZS 2728:2013 and the steel base is an aluminium/zinc alloy-coated steel complying with AS 1397:2011. Minimum yield strengths are G550 (550MPa), or G300 (300MPa) depending on profile. Minimum coating mass is AM100 (100g/m2).
COLORBOND® Metallic steel is prepainted steel for superior aesthetic qualities displaying a metallic sheen.
COLORBOND® Ultra steel is prepainted steel for severe coastal or industrial environments (generally within about 100-200 metres of the source). The painting complies with AS/NZS 2728:2013 and the steel base is an aluminium/ zinc alloy-coated steel complying with AS 1397:2011. Minimum coating mass is AM150 (150g/m2).
SuperDura™ Stainless steel is pre-painted steel and is used for severe and coastal environments. The painting complies with AS/NZS 2728:2013 and the steel base is a stainless steel complying with AISI/ASTM Type 430; UNS No. S43000.

The vibrant new Senior Years and Science Centre at Ivanhoe Grammar School’s Plenty Campus, aptly named The Round, has made a dramatic visual addition to the Campus grounds - clad as it is in boldly-ribbed LYSAGHT LONGLINE 305® - and a dramatic difference to the students who utilise it.
As a young builder working in his father’s business, Get Smart Constructions, Stuart Ponsford has helped build many homes for clients, but had minimal design experience, so experimenting on his own project – his first home – seemed a good place to start.
This ‘first go’ could not have ended any better for Stuart, because with the help of Lauricella Design and Drafting, his design took out the residential category of the 2020 Lysaght Innovation Design Awards.
It’s not every day that an architectural firm is asked to design a performing arts centre. And while designing an auditorium is a challenge in itself, add a requirement for specialised spaces to teach dance, drama, music and film, and the task becomes even more complex.
Fortunately though, as principal consultant appointed by the Queensland Department of Education to design and document a new performing arts centre, Biscoe Wilson Architects rose to the challenge.
